Motor Drive Test Systems

Intepro Systems brings new, innovative solutions to testing motor drive and motor systems for traditional high power applications such as conveyors, pumps, elevators and the new compact designs for commercial, domestic, aerospace and automotive applications.

Drive and motor systems present unique challenges for test systems and Intepro combines regenerative active electronic loads to reduce the energy needed to do the tests as well as sophisticate instruments and supply voltages to test these demanding applications and provide meaningful results for the electrical and mechanical power parameters.

The complex nature of these motor drive systems puts unique demands on the test equipment especially in the measuring and calculation of efficiency: Intepro MDT systems meet the growing market demand for flexible systems with improved power efficiency to increase the need to quantify power parameters on motor drive systems with much greater precision.

The Intepro MDT test system is capable of performing the following measurements :

  • Wide range of voltage, current, torque and speed signals.
  • Accurate frequency detection, ideally with no need for analogue filtering.
  • Results storage for reports and comparisons.
  • Synchronised measurement of electrical and mechanical parameters.
  • Dynamic testing of start up and load test conditions.

Products

E2010 Ethernet Controller. The Web based Interactive control allows the user to interactively control all the Test Systems Hardware via the embedded web server. There is a simple send/receive utility or routines can be setup.

E2010 Ripple Card. The basic function of the Ripple card is to measure the output ripple and noise from Power Supplies. This is available as an RE2010 module which is for a 6U high rack or as a 1U standalone Ethernet Instrument.

E2010 Selftest Scanner. The Selftest Scanner Module is a dual purpose instrument. It acts as a reference and switching module for system Selftest, which is used in conjunction with a Selftest fi xture and Selftest software. The Relay Scanners in-built selftest is an essential component for “down” time minimization in any high volume manufacturing facility. This is available as an RE2010 module which is for a 6U high rack or as a 1U standalone Ethernet Instrument.

E2010 40A Load. The 200-Watt DC Load is a variable electronic unit which is capable of sinking up to 40 amps.
